About Abbey Road
Abbey Road came out in 1969 and is the last album the Beatles recorded together, even though Let It Be was released later. Side one is a set of separate songs, including "Come Together," "Something" and "Octopus's Garden," and it ends with the abrupt cut of "I Want You (She's So Heavy)." Side two opens with "Here Comes the Sun" and "Because," then runs through an eight-track medley that finishes with "The End." The very short "Her Majesty" closes the record. It is a good album to learn in chunks, because the structure is so clear.
